Danny gained his experience within the industry working at a number of distilleries across Scotland, as well as leading tastings and making cocktails in Edinburgh’s most well-known whisky bars.
In 2017, Danny entered ‘The Greatest Job Interview in the World’ – a competition to find Grant’s latest Global Brand Ambassador, and his life took a new turn.
With over 5,000 applicants from around the world, Danny became one of the finalists who travelled across the globe to put their experience and resourcefulness to test. After a gruelling interview, he won the accolade becoming Grant’s new Global Brand Ambassador.

Sandile has been a Grant’s whisky whiz since 2015 and is famous on the Jo’burg bar scene for his whisky sour’s and fruit infusion cocktails. He is known in South Africa as the charming Scotch evangelist. Converting barmen and party people one dram at a time.
